Portishead is situated in the South West of England, in the county of North Somerset. The town is on the eastern coast

of the River Severn adjacent to where the River Avon joins the Severn. Approximately 10 miles from the centre of Bristol and

3 miles from the M5 motorway junction, it is ideally positioned to be able to be reached from any location, yet still

enjoys the countryside environment of the Gordano Valley and its coastal location.

Positioned approximately 10 miles downstream from the Severn bridges it commands views across the River Severn to

Newport, South Wales and beyond toward the Brecon hills.
